PRO-TIP: If you are a free-lancer (ie: “starving artist”) treat yourself to little $1 and $2 treats sometimes (like when you get paid for a job, before immediately spending it all on important things like bills — yes I realize this sounds like bad advice but hang with me for a second here:). Like seriously check out with $3.45 in your cart like I just did. Because you still get to “reward” yourself for a job well done. Believe it or not, buying something inexpensive triggers the same reward centers in your brain that buying something big does. Plus, it’s fun to get little things in the mail. :)
