I had a fun & quiet morning hanging out in my shop and taking some photos of all of my holiday displays. Here’s a little tour!

This very talented young lady is one of our “regulars” at the shop and she and her friends are all so awesome & motivated. You can check out more of her covers on youtube and she’s also got an EP on itunes here.
Go show her some love!

There’s just one week until our Grand Opening… and I’m pleased to report that things are really starting to click into place!
I’ve just got a few photos to share today. We’ve been pretty busy trying to get as much as possible crossed off of our to-do lists… next week is sure to be an exciting one!
I seriously can’t believe how much we’ve done in ten days.
We’ve torn down all of the plastic from the walls, and even started to put up the first coats of paint. (The hunter green wall is not one of our color choices!) We’re kind of in love with the industrial look of the exposed brick, though at least SOME of it will get painted. It’s even kind of fun to think about things like lighting fixtures and floor tiles.
We look pretty excited, don’t we? As you can see, we’ve got a lot of work to do. I was up until 4:00 am last night because I just couldn’t sleep. The ideas just kept coming and coming and it was all I could do just to keep up with them!
Tod & I went for a walk this afternoon and sat by the Grand River for a bit listening to all the frogs and birds. ♥♥
